Introducing the E1 tapered liner

The E1 tapered liners complements the existing family of Exceed ABT low wear ceramic and metal hard bearing liners.

E1 Antioxidant Infused Technology prevents oxidative degradation of the polyethylene, and offers an alternative ultra low wear soft bearing option for active patients.
The tri-bearing Exceed ABT acetabular platform addresses patients and practice needs by combining technological development in large diameter bearings with clinically proven fixation methods.

  • Utra-low wear bearing: E1 offers high mechanical strength1,2,  and true oxidative resistance3
  • Tri-bearing option: The facility to select intra-operatively between large diameter E1 Antioxidant Infused Technology, ceramic and metal bearings addresses a variety of clinical requirements and patient needs.
  • Reduced cup inventory: 3 bearings, one cup.
  • Easier revision: The E1 liner can be utilised for revisions of metal or ceramic liners.
  • Maximised bearing diameter for greater implant stability. The E1 liners helps maximise the bearing diameters (28, 32, 36mm) without compromising the minimum polyethylene thickness and mechanical properties.
  • Improved biomechanical restoration: The 10-degree E1 tapered liner addresses vertically positioned cups
