Verteshark

The ageing population is increasing the focus on the management of painful vertebral compression fractures. Painful vertebral compression fractures may result from osteoporosis, begin lesions, malignant lesions or trauma of the vertebral bodies.

Vetrebroplasty is a preferred treatment option for reducing pain from vertebral compression fractures. The fixation of the fracture eliminates the micro motion of the vertebral body.

The Verteshark system makes it possible to inject the cement under a safe and controlled pressure and allows a long working time.

The hydrualic system enables smooth introduction of the cement through a proprietary bevelde tip introducer needle: 11Gauge x 15 cm and 13 Gauge x 15 cm.
Long peek hose towards the needle avoid irradiation or image disturbance. The swivel connection between the needle provide an intra operatively flexibility.

Indications:

• Osteoporotic compression fractures
• Benign Lesions (hemangioma)
• Malignant Lesions (metastatic cancer, Myeloma)
