Omega 21 LP/TOP

The additionof Low Profile (Omega 21 LP) and (Omega 21 TOP) screws and top loading hooks to the Classic Omega 21 instrumentation has made Omega 21 one of the most versatile implant systems currently available.

Often due to patient anatomy and pathology, screws and hooks are difficult to align. With Omega 21 LP/TOP, surgeons can concentrate on optimum implant placement without worrying about alignment with the rod or excessive rod contouring. This is due to the combination of fixed and multi-axial top loading screws and hooks and the Classic Omega 21 screws with offset multidirectional couplers which link them to the rod allowing for a more offset implant position.

The Low Profile of Omega 21 LP implants makes them an excellent choice for anterior fixation. They are able to be utilised in either a single or dual rod configuration depending on the procedure requirements.

All implants and instruments are colour coded according to size or type; this ensures easier intra0operatieve identification of the correct instrument. Both Top screws and hooks share a common locking system, reducing inventory and making the system easier to use.
