The MicroMax™ FLEX suture anchor represents the next generation of suture anchors. The flexible shaft design allows this anchor to be inserted through a curved guide and access the lower 4:00-8:00 o’clock positions on the glenoid rim for a more anatomic placement of an anchor. The mechanical deployment feature allows the anchors to be compressed into bone and then “fired” for additional sub-cortical fixation. The MicroMax™ FLEX anchor allows the curved guide to be placed above the subscapularis rotator cuff tendon and still access lower positions on the anterior glenoid face without compromising the tendon.
