Netherlands 'Change'
The principles of arthroscopic rotator cuff repair are focused on creating an optimal environment for the tendon to heal to the bone. A “double row rotator” cuff repair procedure utilizing the ALLthread™ Knotless Suture Anchor as the second row.
The purpose of the second row is to increase the surface area of the rotator cuff in direct contact with the bleeding bone bed. It has been demonstrated that adding a second row to the repair increases the contact surface area of the tendon to bone and also increases the potential of healing as evidenced by follow-up MRIs.
